Villa Splendissima is a Mediterranean oasis of around 2000 m2 on the island of Krk, Croatia, steps from old town Krk, beaches and so much more.
Set amongst some 150 years old olive trees, lavender, rosemary and other typical heavenly smelling vegetation nests a beautiful stone villa. Parking is free.
Does your perfect holiday include reading a good book surrounded by birds songs? Garden that surrounds our Villa offers numerous nooks to rest in hammocks, sun beds, swinging egg chairs or benches. Or one can socialize at the pool, trampoline or barbecue area with a view of an old town of Krk. Everything named is free of charge.
Our guests have a choice of 3 very private apartments: Studio is for 2 people, Sea apartment for 4 people or Pool apartment also for 4 people. Ever dreamed to just turn your head in bed and enjoy a sea view? We have it! As names suggest one can enjoy sea views from the balcony and even from one’s bed of a Sea apartment and Studio! The pool apartment has a big terrace that overlooks a garden and a pool. It is also the only one that is partly build into the hillside so it remains nicely cool even in a summer without air-condition.
All apartments feature fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, oven or microwave, air-condition, fens, free WI-fi, satellite TV, kettle, filter coffee machine. Bathrooms have a shower and a hairdryer. Pool apartment also includes a washing machine. Our equipment is brand new since we offered our Villa to others to enjoy first in 2014.
We like to spoil our guests so we offer free degustation and site tours for ones staying more than 7 days. In season our guests can see and taste different cheeses, sheep cottage cheese, olive oil, prosciutto, wine and other heavenly locally made products.
Villa Splendissima is located 300m from old historical town of Krk (5 minutes of walking) and picturesque beaches. There is something for every taste – from small quiet bays, shaded by tall pine trees or hotel beaches for party/cocktail lovers to turquoise lagoon reserved specially for dogs and their owners!
The closest food store, restaurant and coffee bar is around 200 m away. If you feel energetic you can enjoy volleyball, tennis, mini-golf, morning yoga classes or water aerobics in nearby hotels. Old historical town offers numerous sites of interest and evening events set between the picturesque walls of the Francopane castle. The main bus station is 1,5 km from our Villa, airport Rijeka 23 km.
Our staff speaks English, German, Slovenian and Croatian fluently. Also some Italian and Spanish.
